School Banking Program Commences Week 4

16.05.18

he Commonwealth School Banking Program will commence from Tuesday 22 May at Tenison Woods College. Junior School students are invited to bring their deposit in their yellow Dollarmite Banking Wallet, to their classroom and place inside the banking bag supplied. For students in Year 6 and above, banking wallets will need to be submitted to the Front Office. These wallets, along with receipts and first savings tokens will be returned to classes by the end of the day. Once students have collected 10 deposit tokens, they will be able to claim a reward.

Dollarmite Banking Wallets are given out when parents/carers open a Youthsaver Account. If parents have a Youthsaver account already but do not have a deposit book and wallet they can collect one from the Commonwealth Bank. There will also be supplies available at the Front Office. If parents/carers want to open a new account for their children they can do so online (deposit book and wallet will be posted out) or in a Commonwealth branch (wallet collected on the day). All new accounts also receive a free money box.
